Development of King Abdul Aziz EndowmentWe've been entrusted to conceive and help develop the world's largest mixed-use complexes of its kind in the world, overlooking the Holy Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The 1,455,000 m² structure is being built on a 32,000 m² site area and will accommodate - at peak time - 65,000 visiting pilgrims. |

The podium includes commercial retail center; restaurants and food courts; prayer areas for 3,8000 people and a public plaza which will accommodate a future convention center. It's topped with a four-level car park. The hotel's top levels are crowned with the project's "Jewel" the 4-storey Lunar Center housing a museum, library and telescope dome, along with helicopter control tower, and a spire with telecom tower and upper viewing deck.
Residential
The six towers, ranging from 33 to 48 residential floors, are spread along the periphery of the site to maximize direct view to the Haram from each of the podiums. Each tower features residential bays in the various apartment layouts, to provide maximum distribution flexibility according to the market requirements. Triangular projecting bay windows are used throughout, ensuring both optimum direct views to the Haram and the residents' privacy.
In addition to the residential bays at the towers, 541 luxury studios have been distributed along the boundary of the car park levels as well as on the podium levels in order to benefit from the Haram view.
