Design, tender documents (based on EPC type contract), project management and supervision of construction were provided for the new Kiln 4 plant.

With a daily output/production of 4,300 tons of cement clinker, it consists of the following departments:

  • Raw Material Crushing Department: crushing plant, a pre-blending storage yard, corrective material storage yards, and a raw material transport system incorporating raw material analyser of the Gamma Matrices Type;
  • Raw Material Milling Department: vertical roller or ball mill, mill feeding system, raw mill electrostatic type filter, and raw mill blending silos/system
  • Kiln Department: pre-heatertower, kiln, kiln feed system, clinker cooler, clinker storage silo, and clinker transport system.

Works also comprise upgrading the feed system from the existing clinker silos to mills 1 to 4, plant control system, heavy fuel storage and distribution system, electrical substations and distribution network, compressed air network, process water treatment plant and distribution network, and roadworks.
